Tishman Speyer approached Monstarlab to digitally transform one of the most iconic buildings in New York - the Rockefeller Centre. The real estate market was being disrupted with new entrants and whilst Tishman Speyer felt that they delivered a more premium experience, they needed to improve how they communicated and engaged with tenants and their staff to demonstrate their value.

To get a better understanding of the business challenges and needs of the tenants, we did some initial discovery work to determine the best solution to maximise value to tenants which included offices, retail and hospitality businesses, as well as a top New York tourist attraction.

Empowering Tenants with a Concierge Platform

The tenant solution was Zo - a concierge platform that lets employees book a range of services at the push of a button, which was implemented for thousands of Rockefeller Centre building occupants. The web and mobile app allowed users to book a range of services from providers on site, including massages, food ordering, beauty treatments etc. This enabled clients to create a happier, healthier and more productive workforce, while providing a marketing platform for the suppliers. From an administrators' perspective, they got the opportunity to use one portal to manage vendors, tenants, scheduling, locations and more – easily turning a tenant desire into a revenue opportunity.
