The growth trajectory continues. After a number of years with large M&A-driven growth, Japanese-owned Monstarlab further strengthens its COO office with the promotion of long-term CFO, Kasper Heumann Kristensen, and paves the way for a future built on operational excellence.
In this newly created role, Kasper Heumann Kristensen will connect the organisation’s finance & reporting, business intelligence, legal, and operations activities. This will strengthen the communication between them and break down potential silos that the company would otherwise risk creating, in particular following recent years’ aggressive M&A-based growth strategy. The role is furthermore expected to focus on transforming the company into a more data-driven organisation, embedding a performance culture, as well as managing risk.
While Monstarlab’s growth in recent years has provided its global clientele benefits and value in terms of access to a larger and more diverse talent pool, global presence yet local knowledge, complex and global cases and thereby experiences, and much more, the strengthening of the COO office will secure the clients even greater efficiency, and thereby return and value.
“I am extremely satisfied and excited that we managed to attract and promote Kasper to this very important dotted role of CFO/COO for our EMEA region. Kasper’s many years with Nodes, experience as CFO, as well as operational and commercial acumen, enable Monstarlab to tie together growing parts of our business and drive the operational excellence required to continue our high-growth journey while ensuring continuously increasing value for our clients,” Mark Jones, Group Chief Operating Officer, states.
And Kasper Heumann Kristensen is equally excited.
“Moving outside my main expertise area, the CFO role, has been a natural transition as we have grown as a company. I look forward to applying the much broader experience I have gathered throughout my years with the company, as well as ensure, our growing organisation is built on strong and efficient pillars. I appreciate the trust our management team has put in me by offering this opportunity, allowing me to develop myself further and look forward to adding value to the organisation in a new way” he says.
Kasper Heumann Kristensen joined Monstarlab, then Nodes, as CFO in April 2016 when the company consisted of two offices in Copenhagen and London. Since then, Kasper has been involved in legal and human resources, aside from his growing responsibilities as CFO for the growing Nodes, and Monstarlab’s EMEA CFO office.
