Mamoriai Japan (2020)
The application “Mamoriai Japan” was independently developed by Code for Japan, a general incorporated association. The application uses Bluetooth in smartphones to notify users of the possibility that they have been in close contact with a person infected with the new coronavirus. CivicTech (a term coined by combining “Civic,” meaning citizen, and “Tech,” meaning technology) was developed by a group of volunteers. Twelve Monstarlab employees participated in the project. The project started with technical research, followed by requirement definition, implementation, coupling testing, load testing, and pen testing. In approximately 1.5 months of development time, a release-ready quality product was created.

Urban Innovation KOBE" is a regional problem-solving project from the city of Kobe in which startups and the government collaborate. Monstarlab was selected for the project in FY2018, and introduced and tested the “Allowance Calculation Robot” created by applying its own RPA tools. Ruby City MATSUE Project (2014-)
The Ruby City MATSUE Project was launched in 2006 with the cooperation of Matsue City resident and Ruby developer, Yukihiro Matsumoto. It is a local development project that has brought about significant changes in local industry, culture, and education in Matsue City.
This project led Monstarlab to open a development center in Shimane in 2014. The center's employees have twice won the grand prize at the Fukuoka Ruby Awards, and its team of Ruby specialists leads the Monstarlab Group's Ruby development projects. In addition to being featured in local media such as San'in Chuo Shimpo Digital, Monstarlab offers a new way of working for engineers by providing services from Matsue City, which is rich in nature, to countries around the world.
