Kakujo Gyogyo, with the \"Seri Genpyo App\" developed by Monstarlab, digitally transformed its purchasing operations, which had previously relied on handwritten order details and auction bid slips. This resulted in the streamlining of tasks, reduced paperwork, and fewer human errors, improving the efficiency of analog processes. While the app enabled the digitization of various purchasing details, it did not fully utilize the past data accumulated in the core system for purchasing operations. Buyers in the field expressed a need to \"formulate purchasing strategies while freely referencing desired data in real-time at the market, such as data from the previous year, month, or week,\" and \"be able to access desired data from anywhere, including business trips or while traveling.\"
To address these challenges, Monstarlab proposed building a dashboard that would allow buyers in the field to access data on their own devices.
In initiating the creation of this dashboard, Monstarlab defined requirements by envisioning various use cases in the purchasing process. This led to the conception of a dashboard that would not only allow data viewing but also facilitate purchasing operations based on the strategic utilization of data.
For development, an agile methodology was adopted, and the dashboard was implemented as a feature addition to the backend office management webpage. This enabled a release within a short period of approximately two months from the project's inception.
Furthermore, in constructing the dashboard, Monstarlab worked closely as one team with the core system that holds all of Kakujo Gyogyo's data. This collaboration involved acquiring necessary data and aligning the data interface for transferring information from the core system to the dashboard.
", "content2": "By utilizing the dashboard, buyers in the field can now access necessary past performance data in real-time, enabling them to conduct purchasing operations more strategically. Positive feedback regarding improved purchasing accuracy has been received from field buyers, with comments such as, \"We can now formulate more strategic purchases based on past data and utilize it for procurement.\"
Furthermore, expanding the gateway to data utilization has been highly appreciated company-wide from the perspective of operational standardization and reduced training costs.
