At Monstarlab, we process personal information in order to implement our services. Such information is handled with regards to our privacy policy as stated below.

  1. Purposes for using your personal information

    Monstarlab may process your personal information for the following purposes:

    Transfer of Public Information

    1. In order to provide our services to our customers.

    2. In order to manage and maintain our own services.

    3. In order to engage our customers and inform them about our services.

    4. In order to contact a customer with necessary information in regards to our products or services.

    5. In order to send documents about or answer questions concerning inquiries made by our customers.

    6. In order to charge fees for any services or products purchased by our customers.

    7. For statistical analysis intended at creating better services and products for our customers.

    8. When managing and sending out orders of our products

    9. For the hiring process here at our company.

    10. In order to contact a candidate about their screening results, or other related employment notifications.

    11. In order to process information required for payroll, social insurance and worker benefits for our employees.

    12. In order to process information for a worker-retiree.

    Please keep in mind that if you fail to provide us with the necessary information or submit an incomplete entry, we will not be able to provide you with our products and services, nor proceed with the hiring process for prospective employees.



    Non-disclosed Personal Information at Monstarlab

    1. Information used in the process of managing and maintaining our web servers.

    2. Information used in the troubleshooting for system development.

  2. Acquisition of Personal Information

    Monstarlab only acquires personal information through just and legal means.

  3. About Subcontracting

    Here at Monstarlab, we may entrust business operations to subcontractors in which personal information may also be disclosed to the extent required.

  4. Third Party Involvement

    At Monstarlab, other than the few exceptions listed below, we do not provide any third parties with your personal information. Listed below are the circumstances in which we are obligated to disclose personal information provided by our customers. At Monstarlab, we will not disclose any personal information to a third party unless the disclosure of certain information is required for the below reasons, or only if prior consent is received. Personal information submitted to Monstarlab is handled appropriately within the scope of the purpose of use and will not be disclosed to any third party unless specifically required by law for the following purposes. Subcontracting is not to be considered as a third party.

    1. When required by law

    2. When personal information is necessary to protect the life, body, or assets of an individual, and when it is proven difficult to obtain customer consent.

    3. When personal information is necessary to improve public hygiene or to promote a sound and healthy environment for children and when it is proven difficult to obtain customer consent.

    4. When personal information is necessary to cooperate with the national; or local government or a party entrusted by these entities to carry out business operations, and where there is a possibility of obstruction due to difficulty of receiving consent of the customer.

  5. Sharing of personal information

    Here at Monstarlab, we don’t disclose any personal information without the consent of the person in question.

  6. About the handling of personal information

    At Monstarlab, the protection any personal information we handle is of utmost importance: we have installed many systems in order to prevent unauthorized access to your data.We have established internal training for our employees in order to ensure that your personal information is in the right hands.Personal information deemed no longer necessary for business purposes will be disposed of promptly and in an appropriate manner.

  7. Procedures for Disclosure of Personal Information etc.

    Given that the person in question can confirm his/her identity or through his/her agent, Monstarlab provides individuals with records of their personal information obtained by the company. Records will only be disclosed if we are given a reasonable period of time to respond and if said request is legal and within our guidelines.

    1. Monstarlab will respond in the following manner to inquiries about the use of your personal information.

      1. Notices of Purpose of Use

        We will provide notices specifying with how we handle your personal information here at Monstarlab.

      2. Disclosure of Personal Information

        Monstarlab will disclose the personal information we hold about you upon request.

      3. Revising, Adding or Removing Personal Information

        We will make revisions or additions to any personal information we hold as well as delete elements upon request.

      4. Cessation of use or Elimination of Personal Information

        Upon request we will either stop the usage of or delete all personal information we hold of you.

      5. Cessation of sharing Personal Information with third parties

        We will make cessations to sharing any personal information we hold with third parties upon request.

        (Warning) Please take note that upon us fulfilling any requests to delete or cease the use of your personal information, that this may in turn affect our ability to fully provide our services to you.

    2. Fees

      For each request regarding the disclosure of personal information or purpose of use, we charge a fee of 800 yen (tax included). We will send disclosures of personal information and/or purpose of use notices directly to your address. Please use the invoice attached to pay for the fee we charge. We don’t charge fees for requests regarding personal information other than for the disclosure of personal information or purpose of use notifications.

    3. About general inquiries and billing methods

      If you make a request for disclosure and etc. please fill out all necessary information on our company’s Request for Disclosure and Etc. Form (1) and include the necessary proof of identification of yourself (or of your agent etc.)(2). Upon enclosing these items, please use delivery-certified mail, simplified registered mail, or another method enabling confirmation of delivery to the following address. Please note that if these qualifications are not met, we will not be able to grant your Request for Disclosure and Etc. (this includes cases of direct submission to our company office). Moreover, if we find that there are any inadequacies in the information provided on the Request for Disclosure and Etc. form, or if we could not confirm your (or your agent’s etc.) identity, there is a possibility that we will not be able to grant your request.

    4. Notification of Billing for Request of Disclosure etc.

      We will send billing documents to the address and name listed on the Request for Disclosure form through simplified registered mail. If we cannot fulfill your Request for Disclosure of Personal Information, we will send you documentation specifying reason(s) in accordance to (3). If we have either added of or deleted of any parts of personal information held within the company, we will also notify you of these changes in a timely manner through documentation. We also thank you in advance for your understanding in that it may take a few days to deliver any of the above notifications.

      1. We will not disclose purpose of use of personal information for the following reason(s):

        1. In order to protect the life, body, or assets of you or any other individual;

        2. When it is likely to cause harm to the rights and legitimate profits of Monstarlab;

        3. When it is likely to cause harm to the rights, competitive position, or other legitimate interests of the said Juridical persons, etc. or of the said individual;

        4. When it may interfere with an obligation we have to cooperate with the execution of a legitimate and legal mission to of either a national institution or local public organization;

        5. When the use of personal information is apparent;

        6. When we don’t have direct access to your personal information;

        7. When we have hold access to your personal information but said information is not subject to disclosure;

        8. When requested fee payments have not been met;

      2. We will not disclose personal information for the following reason(s):

        1. If the procedure involves to be followed by certain laws and regulations;

        2. In order to protect the life, body, or assets of you or any other individual;

        3. If fulfillment of this request causes hindrance to proper implementation of our business operation;

        4. Fulfillment of the request constitutes violation of laws and regulations; When we don’t hold your personal information;

        5. When we have hold access to your personal information but said information is not subject to disclosure;

        6. When requested fee payments have not been met.

      3. We cannot add or delete part of your personal information for the following reason(s):

        1. If there are no errors in the personal information up for disclosure;

        2. If certain laws or regulations require a specialized process.

      4. We cannot delete or stop using your personal information for the following reason(s):

        1. In order to protect the life, body, or assets of you or any other individual;

        2. If fulfillment of this request causes hindrance to proper implementation of our business operation;

        3. If certain laws or regulations require a specialized process.

    5. We may obtain personal information in the following way in order to process Disclosures of Personal Information and etc. requests. Regarding personal information we gather through the process of handling Requests for Disclosure of Personal Information will only be used to the extent to fulfill the request and none other. Once the process is finalized, we will dispose of all documents submitted.

  8. Personal Information Protection Guidelines

    Monstarlab is not a member of any authorized personal information protection organization at present.

  9. How we use Cookies and other web beacons here at Monstarlab

    There are instances in which our company websites may contain cookies or web beacons. This is for our users to have the best experience possible when visiting our websites.

    You can change your browser settings to block cookies and other similar technologies. Doing so may impact your ability to use some of our services.

  10. Voluntary contributions and repercussions

    Your contribution of personal information is completely voluntary. Whether you choose to provide your personal information with us is voluntary, however, failure to provide us with the required fields may restrict our abilities in getting back to you.
