Toshitada joined Nomura Research Institute after finishing his degree at Tokyo University’s Graduate School of Engineering. During his time as a consultant at Nomura Research Institute, Toshida was involved mainly in new business developments for Japanese high-tech companies as well as supporting the overseas growth for domestic companies and for foreign companies looking to enter the Japanese market. Subsequently, Toshida moved on to provide practical support for partnerships and investments such as M&As, start-ups and IPOs. In 2012, he undertook an advisory role at American company Fenox Venture Capital in the Silicon Valley, raising funds from operating companies. In 2015, Toshiba became the Japanese subsidiary representative. Currently, he is in charge of raising funds, as well as venture investments.
