Challenge
PERSONNEL CONSULTANT operates Restaurant Job in Thai, a platform that connects job seekers with restaurants across Thailand. As the service grew, the company faced two key priorities: building a stronger revenue base and supporting multiple languages.
The most urgent of these was introducing paid plans. Job postings had always been free, so the company needed to rethink the system and add features for managing and billing paid plans, creating a new source of revenue.
Thailand's restaurant industry also employs many people from other countries. A Thai-only service limited convenience for both job seekers and employers, so multilingual support became a priority. The company also wanted to grow organic traffic through SEO.
To address all of these needs at once and become the platform of choice for more users, PERSONNEL CONSULTANT partnered with Monstarlab.
Our Approach
Monstarlab formed a team led by its Thailand office, with engineers from its Bangladesh office, to support the project from requirements definition through design, development, and QA. Working as one team with the client, Monstarlab carried out a full renewal of the service.
On the UI/UX side, Monstarlab designed separate dashboards tailored to job seekers and employers. The platform focused on mobile usability, with features such as map-based job search and one-tap registration through LINE.
For paid plans, the team built multiple plan tiers and an admin panel that gives a single view of each employer's plan status and billing history. For multilingual support, the job seeker interface is available in Thai, English, Japanese, and Burmese, and the employer interface in Thai and English. Users can switch languages instantly from the header.
On the technical and SEO side, the team set up an infrastructure that manages servers, notifications, and email in one place. It also implemented structured data and image compression, helping the service reach more users.
Results
The renewed service launched successfully, and both job seekers and employers have responded positively to its improved usability.
With multilingual support in place, foreign job seekers and employer representatives can now use the platform with ease, greatly expanding its reach.
Looking ahead, PERSONNEL CONSULTANT plans to add features such as chat, reviews, and AI-powered job recommendations, positioning the platform for continued growth as Thailand's dedicated F&B job service.
