After finishing her graduate studies at the Tokyo Institute of Technology, Mariko joined Monitor Group in April 2002, working on multiple corporate brand projects for Japanese enterprises at her time there. In January 2006, Mariko joined the brand management team at Recruit Co., Ltd.. She worked on projects that involved brand message and communication tactics for the company. With the company’s IPO in sight, Mariko lead a project focused on verbalization of the company’s corporate culture. Thereafter, Mariko worked on PR and design projects aimed at integrated reporting as well as reformations of the corporate website preceding Recruit Holdings split-up. Mariko joined Monstar Lab in April of 2019.
