Bryan has dedicated over 20 years to understanding the role and leadership characteristics of successful technology executives. His activities span executive recruiting, leadership assessment and coaching as well as board advisory work.
He founded The Digital Board in 2012 as he saw a major gap in Board awareness around the role both Digital and Data & Analytics were playing in shaping future operating models. Bryan’s own business model is to help bridge that gap by recruiting dedicated Advisory Boards for these organisations.
Formerly the Regional Managing Partner (Europe) of Heidrick & Struggles Chief Information Officer practice. As an Executive Recruiter he has conducted over 6000 CIO/Senior IT leader interviews and 500 CEO and Exec team briefings.
Prior to Heidrick & Struggles, Bryan worked for the Chief Information Officer of BP helping to define a culture of leadership within their technology function. This involved working with some of the world`s most respected academic institutions, including Harvard, MIT and Kellogg.Bryan has published a number of relevant papers on this topic.
