March 09, 2022

On 15th March 2022, representatives from Monstarlab will be attending this year’s Le marché International des Professionnels de l’immobilier or more popularly referred to as MIPIM, hosted in Cannes, France. Monstarlab will be part of the Invest Newcastle, NewcastleGateshead Initiative (NGI) delegation along with Newcastle University, GT3 Architects and many more stakeholders who are dedicated to showcasing what the region can offer the international real estate industry.

Over the course of four days, we will join some of the most influential players in the international real estate industry to talk about the latest trends, innovations, and initiatives in the industry. The Former French President, François Hollande will deliver the keynote speech,  addressing the major challenges and opportunities facing society today.MIPIMMIPIM is the world’s leading annual international real estate event for the last three decades and presents Monstarlab with the opportunity to showcase its credentials as an emerging key technology player in developing smart places, infrastructures, and even cities.

From construction to building management companies and up to local and national governments, we believe that all those involved in developing smart places should have the opportunity to make use of the latest technologies to provide a greater experience and enhanced quality of life for their customers.

On Monstarlab joining the NGI delegation, Jen Hartley, Director of Invest Newcastle, NewcastleGateshead Initiative said:

Having Monstarlab join our North East England delegation is fantastic and testament to their commitment to Newcastle and the wider region. As a recent inward investor, they have hit the ground running, already working with us to shout about why Newcastle is the ideal place to do business and integrating into the business community.

Their recent move to Newcastle will also be a great asset to our delegation, bringing first-hand experience of setting up in the city and enjoying everything it has to offer.

We can’t wait to hear from them as part of our MIPIM events programme, talking about the importance of Smart Cities and why Newcastle is the ideal home for a forward thinking, global tech company like theirs. We love working with businesses that are dedicated to seeing our region flourish and so look forward to taking on MIPIM with Monstarlab by our side.

On the launch of the global Smart Places campaign, James Hall, Executive Director of Monstarlab said:

This is the first time Monstarlab have had a presence at MIPIM and we are delighted to be joining the NGI delegation after opening our Newcastle office in 2021. Over the past year, we have worked tirelessly to bring together specialists from around the world to launch our global Smart Places initiative to create a truly borderless organisation. MIPIM gives us the opportunity to share our best practice and experience on how to develop Smart Places with some of the world’s most influential real estate companies.

Attending MIPIM, coincides with the launch of our global campaign to highlight some of our groundbreaking work around smart places.  This encompasses the work from global teams and high profile clients such as PwC, Fujitsu and Tishman Speyer.
