Red Bull MOBILE (RBM), a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO), re-imagines the traditional mobile service offerings by creating an ecosystem where the users become a part of the wider Red Bull community. RBM builds a value proposition around people who value active lifestyle and connectivity, mastering the customer experience by providing access to exclusive events and a wide range of partnership offers to its network users. The company is actively pursuing a growth strategy and identified Saudi Arabia as one of the key strategic markets to enter. Monstarlab’s in-depth experience in the region and telecommunications ensured that we were able to support RBM’s ambitions in establishing the MVNO in the Kingdom.
Together we embarked on an exciting 18-months journey from idea up to delivering the brand to the market with the launch of operations. The project included two distinct phases: Negotiated a collaboration agreement with an incumbent MNO, established an investor group and created a comprehensive bid book for RBM to bid for an MVNO license; outlining the value proposition, business and operating models, financial analysis, and go-to-market strategy Leveraged our experienced team to launch the first MVNO operator in KSA combining internal and external resources. We acted as a bridge between RBM and the emerging local organisation, providing strategic support in the development of all core business areas, particularly on commercial strategy, sales, marketing, distribution and customer service.

Red Bull MOBILE offers the latest technology in cellphone plans, cellphones and exclusive access to all things Red Bull as a move to stay connected to their core youth customers interested in sports. RBM launched operations in multiple countries including Austria, Belgium, Hungary and South Africa, and continues to grow its operations through MVNOs, having established itself in Oman in 2019 and Saudi Arabia in 2022.
