The Philippine justice system requires a centralized portal to streamline and integrate processes across its agencies, addressing the entire inmate lifecycle from detention to release.
This initiative responds to the pressing need for a unified approach to managing inmate information, ensuring efficiency, transparency, and accountability in handling cases.
The project involves upgrading the existing inmate monitoring system and automating critical workflows for evaluating prisoners’ eligibility for parole and executive clemency. Known as the Single Carpeta System, it is designed to provide a reliable, accurate, and adaptable solution that supports all key processes, including inmate booking, monitoring, hearing schedules, and release management. Additionally, it will enable thorough evaluations of inmates’ physical, mental, and moral fitness, track rehabilitation progress, and oversee the reintegration of parolees and pardonees into society. By bridging gaps between agencies and creating a seamless system, this project ensures a more effective, data-driven, and humane approach to justice administration.
