GODOOR: A Driver Efficiency Service

Enhancing Delivery Workflow by Utilizing the Advantages of Residential Maps in UI/UX Design

GODOOR (formerly the Delivery App) is a mobile application developed by ZENRIN DataCom, a company specializing in maps and location-based services, to improve delivery driver efficiency. We were involved from the planning stage and were responsible for the UI/UX design, which incorporated the strengths of residential maps and the needs of delivery drivers.

Challenges

The most important aspects of this app were design and usability that considered the user's workflow. We were required to create a UI/UX design that would provide benefits through repeated use.

Solutions

We collaborated with the client's project team to conduct research on potential users and created personas. On the ZENRIN residential map, we made it possible to check important information for delivery work, such as designated delivery times and the presence of宅配ボックス, and manage memos. We also designed and built a user-friendly UI design that allowed users to intuitively operate the package delivery status with a flick.。

Results

This service was released in December 2018. As a delivery app that supports delivery drivers in greater detail, ongoing development is still underway.
