Realizing this new system required support utilizing various technologies, including UX/UI design, mobile app development, and backend system development, Wingstop sought a capable partner.
Wingstop and Monstarlab formed a joint team to handle the key phases of the project.
In the initial stages, a two-week sprint was conducted to deepen the understanding of Wingstop's vision and to create prototypes for verifying technical feasibility. Following this, the team worked on designing the full-fledged customer experience and building the design, in parallel with backend development and system integration.
To realize a system that intricately combined multiple IoT devices, the project prioritized achieving a seamless customer experience by steadily addressing detailed operational requirements. This included ensuring an excellent experience at the kiosk terminals, integrating payment solutions linked with the POS system, and generating authentication codes for order retrieval from the lockers.
