With this website renewal as a starting point, Kyowa aims to further communicate its values strongly within the company to enhance employee loyalty, as well as broadly increase external recognition of its brand. At the beginning of the project, discussions were held repeatedly between Kyowa Electronic Instruments stakeholders and Monstarlab representatives regarding the brand image and corporate philosophy that should be conveyed through the corporate website. This led to the definition of Kyowa's brand personality, which would serve as the central pillar for accurately expressing the company's image. To highlight a personality more aligned with the company's realities, they revisited Kyowa's history and conducted interviews with over ten current employees, refining the precision of the brand personality.
Following the solidification of the brand image, the next step was to translate it into the website's wireframes (information architecture) and web design. To capture the client's desire to \"convey a stronger message to employees,\" the team explored various possibilities and constructed a worldview that embodied Kyowa's philosophy and brand personality.
For the website implementation, agile development was employed to allow for flexible adaptation to changes, as a total of four sites needed to be built, including the corporate site and product site. This involved a substantial data creation and migration effort, encompassing over 6,000 pages across the four sites, but the work progressed steadily. Furthermore, a headless CMS was adopted to ensure server maintenance and ease of updating, taking into consideration post-launch operations.
Throughout these processes, the Monstarlab team maintained close communication with Kyowa's representatives, building a strong relationship and working as one cohesive unit to execute the project.
