FOOD & LIFE COMPANIES opened a conveyor belt sushi restaurant in Guangzhou, China in September 2021. However, with the rapid advancement of digitization in China's food and beverage industry, there was an urgent need to improve services that were rooted in the local market.
Focusing on the development of an app utilizing WeChat (the most widely used social media platform in China), the company sought an external partner with insights into the Chinese market and experience in developing WeChat mini-programs.
Leveraging its extensive development experience, Monstar Lab's China office developed the company's official WeChat mini-program. Simultaneously, we implemented a data management feature through the WeChat account's backend, enabling online reservations and orders in conjunction with Sushiro's membership-based operational mechanisms.
