At the time, while CAFU had achieved a certain level of recognition as a \"fuel delivery service\" provider, they were considering diversifying their business for further growth.
However, against the backdrop of rapid business expansion, their core system had become a black box, making it difficult to quickly test and launch new features and services. Timely responses to failures and functional modifications were also challenging. Additionally, there were multiple issues impacting user experience, such as app response delays and delivery delays due to routing problems, leading to customer churn.
Therefore, with the aim of rapidly testing and launching new features and services, CAFU was considering a system architecture overhaul based on a new business roadmap.
Monstarlab was already involved in CAFU's website renewal project at the time. Recognized for its technological expertise and design capabilities, Monstarlab was brought in to work on this project as well.
Monstarlab began by conducting a two-week technical audit encompassing the backend (server-side code) and the mobile app code for both customer and employee applications. Assigning a solution architect, Monstarlab clarified the issues that needed to be addressed based on the audit results. This allowed them to work closely with CAFU's development team to redefine the overall system concept in alignment with business goals and vision.
Subsequently, Monstarlab designed the new system architecture, integrating third-party services such as TCS (fuel metering), Checkout (payment gateway), Salesforce (CRM functionality), and New Relic (application performance monitoring). This simultaneously established a solid foundation for CAFU's business expansion and enabled the delivery of a seamless customer experience.
