Challenges

Asia Air Survey, whose main business is spatial consulting based on the collection and analysis of spatial information using aircraft and cutting-edge sensors, introduced a new ALB capable of measuring underwater topographic data. Although ALB was mainly used for river management and social infrastructure inspections, there was a need to create a new business model using the measured underwater topographic data in order to expand its use.

Solutions

Based on Asia Air Survey's idea of \"Can we develop an app that allows users to view seabed topographic maps and record fishing results?\", we proposed everything from the basic app design to the overall business development process. Subsequently, based on the research results, we conducted competitive analysis, persona design, and screen image creation, and completed the basic design of a new business model and service in about one month. Along with seabed topographic data, we proposed a fishing media service equipped with various content such as a log function to record fishing results and a communication function to share fishing results among users. We adopted development using PWA, which has the advantage of not requiring development for each OS (iOS/Android) or store support while supporting multiple devices, and also has advantages in post-release content marketing strategy. In addition, in order to realize a UI/UX design that combines a pop feel that is easy for beginners to approach with excellent operability, we assigned A.C.O., a domestic group company with strengths in the design field (now integrated into Monstarlab).
