Music has given birth to many different services in the IT market. It started with SNS sites for sharing music, such as Napster and Myspace. We have also seen the popularization of services such as iTunes, Pandora, and SoundCloud. This area of service has undergone extremely rapid changes in recent years. Spotify, a subscription-type service, dominated the music market which is rapidly facing the threat of big players such as Apple Music and Amazon Prime Music. Also, in the artist support area, TuneCore, a distribution service, LANDR, a mastering service, and many other players exist.
Many of the business models for music services in the IT market are simple. The most common models are those that charge users when providing music and services and those that charge on a monthly basis.
