Challenges:

Danske Bank's existing website had not been adequately optimized for viewing on mobile devices, creating an urgent need to address mobile site requirements. Furthermore, the information architecture, designed primarily to promote the bank's financial products, did not fully capture customer needs. Operationally, the process of publishing content was time-consuming, as each page required design and development, hindering the ability to provide information quickly.

Solutions:

To address these challenges, Monstarlab designed content based on user research, focusing on customer needs and life events. By adopting a mobile-first approach, they achieved an optimal customer experience tailored to each individual across all devices.

Furthermore, they implemented Sitecore, a content management system (CMS). Utilizing its personalization engine, they enabled the delivery of information customized to each customer. Additionally, they implemented the Sitecore Experience Platform to enhance security.

Results:

As a result of these efforts, customer satisfaction ratings for the website improved, with 90% of visitors providing positive feedback.

Furthermore, the newly added personalized content accurately addressed customer needs, garnering significant attention with 69% of visitors viewing it. In terms of site operations, the implementation of the CMS empowered editors to freely create and optimize pages and content, enabling the rapid provision of information.

Moreover, this achievement has been highly recognized as a successful application of Sitecore, receiving two Sitecore Experience Awards: "Sitecore implementation for Content Management Strategy in Scandinavia" (2016) and "the Best Business Impact or ROI from a Digital Experience" (2019).
